Learning Spaces Advisory Community seeks faculty and instructor feedback on classroom technology design
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) invites faculty and instructors to discuss improvements to the technology design of classrooms at the next Learning Spaces Advisory Community meeting on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This meeting will be held in person in the Alden Library, room 322 and online via Teams. The agenda will include discussion on computer configuration, hardware setup, and other design considerations for classroom technology improvements for the upcoming academic year.
Along with other campus partners, OIT has been working to improve the user experience in OHIO classrooms. The learning spaces advisory community meeting is a place for the Ohio community, regardless of college or unit affiliation, to engage directly with the people who design, deploy, and maintain technology in OHIO classrooms.
OIT is seeking input especially from faculty and instructors teaching face to face in classrooms on the Athens campus, focusing on improvements that OIT can make to the technology in classrooms to help faculty deliver instruction and improve student learning.
