Be sure to complete OHIO’s online hazing prevention training

All Ohio University students, faculty and staff are encouraged to complete the online hazing prevention training program before the end of the spring semester.

The state of Ohio requires colleges and universities to provide this training, which includes information about hazing, why it is illegal and what students, faculty and staff can do to stop hazing from occurring on our campuses.

Ohio University does not tolerate hazing and Ohio University Policy 23.010 requires all members of the OHIO community to complete training.  As you complete the training, you will receive critical information and resources designed to help all of us be better bystanders.

If you have not yet completed the training, please go to this Ohio University webpage, where you will see links for student training, faculty/staff training, and community training.

If you have already completed this training program, which was first implemented in 2021, you do not need to complete it again.  Those who have completed the training are invited to review the hazing policy, which provides information on all aspects of the policy, including reporting responsibilities.

For hazing to stop, it must be recognized and reported. Thank you for your help as we work together to keep our community safe and secure.
