Bobcat Parents & Families,

This exciting week at OHIO is really a call to action for our entire Bobcat community, which includes you.

This week we are still participating in Operation Thank a Vet, which continues through Veterans Day on Nov. 11. You can write a letter to all veterans and active military members of our OHIO community and share your support by donating to the Student Veterans and Military Services Student Scholarship fund

Be well,

Kathy A Fahl, MSW

Dean of Students

P.S. We hope to see many of you at Dads Weekend, which starts this Friday!

Well-Being Resources

Attention all Bobcat parents and families: Tune in on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. as OHIO's Counseling and Psychological Services hosts a webinar showcasing all of the mental health services available to students.

We hope to see you there!

1. Coaching – Make a peer-to-peer connection with a well-being coach to address life challenges, set goals, and establish healthy habits.

2. Mental Health – Individual counseling, workshops, events, and group work can increase mental health awareness and coping skills.

3. Identity & Community – Connect with others who share your values and interests through identity-based and wellness organizations.

4. Safety & Respect – Engage with programs related to bystander intervention, suicide prevention, and alcohol safety

Group fitness

With the cold weather approaching, you want to be sure you are staying physically active, not just for your mental health, but also for academic success. Grab a friend and try out one of Campus Recreation's group fitness classes at Ping, including yoga, cycling, and cardio dance.
