What are your next steps or plans for the future?

I plan to attend an artist in residence program and to work part-time in an art museum.

What was your ah-ha moment at OHIO?

When my final sculpture came out of the kiln with no issues and it was time to finish my thesis show.

Why did you choose OHIO?

I chose OHIO because the ceramics program had great facilities and I liked the arts community here. The campus is also beautiful.

What was the hardest hill you had to climb at OHIO?

The hardest challenge for me was failing, sometimes in order for me to succeed and learn.

What are your favorite OHIO memories?

Some of my favorite memories are working in the studio late, getting coffee and watching hockey games.

Is there a particular professor who really impacted you during your time at OHIO?

Brad Schwieger supported my artwork and pushed me to achieve even greater things than I thought I could.

What’s the one thing you would tell a new OHIO student not to miss?

Donkey Coffee.

What is something valuable (knowledge, skills or experience) you are leaving OHIO with, as you enter your professional career?

That if you work hard enough you can achieve your goals.
