Instructors invited to share Blackboard feedback on LMS Survey

The Office of Information Technology is conducting a Learning Management System (LMS) Survey to gather feedback and inform future plans about Blackboard, OHIO’s preferred LMS.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Blackboard usage has doubled and many updates have been made to the student and faculty experience.

The survey will help OIT understand instructors’ attitudes, uses, and concerns about Blackboard; identify areas for improvement; provide data for future LMS decisions; and allow a comparison with pre-pandemic experiences reported on the previous version of the survey conducted in January 2020.

All instructors and teaching assistants are invited to complete the survey. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will remain open until Monday, April 4 at 8 a.m.

OIT will discuss the survey results, as well as the LMS road map during the April Teaching and Learning Technologies Advisory Community meeting. Advisory Community meetings hosted by OIT are open for anyone to attend and aim to gather as well as share information relevant to IT strategy and planning.
