University budget website updated with latest information on enrollment, pandemic impacts

Ohio University today updated its State of the Budget website, launched earlier this year, with the latest information about how COVID-19 has impacted University budget planning as well as information about the budget impacts of recent enrollment trends.

Updates include insights from representatives of the University’s shared governance structure on how enrollment trends are impacting the overall budget picture, updated information on the impacts of COVID-19, and data reviewed by the Budget Study Group that was convened earlier this summer by Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs and Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration Deb Shaffer.

These Budget Study Group resources include a white paper analyzing contributing factors to the university’s budget challenges.

University faculty and staff are invited to submit questions about materials presented on the State of the Budget website through the “Ask Us” feature on the site.
