Joni Wadley, Ph.D.

As the Senior Director for Institutional Effectiveness, Joni leads strategic planning and oversight support for the University’s effectiveness initiatives and for the collection, reporting and use of assessment information in academic, co-curricular and administrative programs. The IE team assists University stakeholders to make improvements in programs and student learning through research and analysis focused on student outcomes, institutional improvement, and student involvement and engagement. Joni is a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission, an AAC&U VALUE Institute certified scorer, is a member of the University Benchmark Project Advisory Board, has participated in AAC&U VALUE Institute research initiatives, and has taught assessment and evaluation courses in the higher education administration doctoral and college student personnel master’s degree programs at Ohio University.
