Justin Shumate

Justin Shumate was born and raised in Athens, OH. He worked as a student worker at OHIO University at the Tech Depot and a short time with Moving and Surplus. Justin graduated OHIO University with an ITS degree in 2019. Justin is the 17th person in his family to graduate from Ohio University. He also worked as a supply chain manager at Ohio Health then went to be a Systems Engineer II for a data security company in Columbus where he built, repaired, and installed Servers. He joined OHIO University on December of 2022 as a Logistics Analyst II and took on the role of Business Manager within the OHIO BSC on September 2023. He looks forward to seeing how he can make Ohio University a better place.

 In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and 3 dogs. He also enjoys working on anything that involves a motor and about anything pertaining to the outdoors. His recent obsession is going on hikes with his Remote-controlled Rock Crawler.
