April Butterworth

April Butterworth began working for Ohio University in 2012 as an Administrative Services Associate in the Division of Finance’s Central Finance office. She went on to the VPFA Business Service Center in 2014 where she served as an Employment Coordinator until January 2023.  April originally joined the OHIO Business Service Center as the Special Assistant/Project Manager for the Executive Director in January of 2023 and then transitioned into the Training Manager role in September 2023.  In her training role, she gets to build solid foundations for new staff entering the OHIO Business Service Center while also looking for ways to grow and develop existing employees.

April is a lifelong resident of Athens County where she lives with her husband and two children. April enjoys camping and spending time with her family outdoors (away from electronics) and can be found frequently dabbling in small farming activities such as gardening and raising animals.
