Long-Term Health Care Administration
The long-term healthcare administration program prepares students for a multi-faceted profession, focusing on a variety of needed care services including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living and continuing care retirement communities. Ohio University’s program is accredited by the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (NAB). Operating a skilled nursing facility (SNF) requires professional licensure in most states, and students should be prepared to sit for licensure boards once degree requirements are met.
