Ashley Beatty-Smith

Ashley is a proud two-time OHIO alumna, earning a B.S.C. in Communication Studies from the Scripps College of Communication and an M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from the Patton College of Education. She serves as the Associate Director of Academic Advising, partnering with advisors across the university to promote collaboration and facilitate professional development opportunities. In this role, she also supports a team of graduate assistants who provide early intervention and academic advising services to undergraduate students at OHIO.

In her previous roles, she worked as Global Programs Coordinator for the Office of Global Opportunities and as the Senior Strategist for Academic Success in the Scripps College of Communication.

Having been both a first-generation and non-traditional college student, Ashley is passionate about student success work that equips students with tools, resources, and guidance to identify their goals and achieve their full potential.
