Division Committees and Task Forces


Division Committees are formed to increase collaboration and communication amoung the departments within the Division of Student Affairs. All Division Staff members are strongly encouraged to become involved on a divisional committee. If you are interested in joining a committee, or have questions about the work of a committee, please feel free to contact the chair of the committee directly.

Capital & Facilities Planning
Dana Espinal & Christine Sheets, Co-Chairs

The Capital & Facilities Planning Committee will provide input and act as a sounding board as it relates to building related projects. As we continue working on the Housing Master Plan and a number of other student affairs projects, this committee will play a vital role for all future building and renovations.

Professional Development
Ardy Gonyer & Rob Rennich, Co-Chairs

The Professional Development Committee will lead our efforts to host a divisional conference style meetings and the mock-interview day for graduate students. This committee will also continue to explore and market professional development opportunities for division staff.

Strategic Development Committee
Doug Franklin, Chair

The Strategic Planning Committee will work to create the future direction and focus for the Division over the next 5 years. The committee will build upon work started in FY12, specifically integrating the Division mission into the overall University vision will be a priority. 

Jneanne Hacker & Joe Wakeley, Co-Chairs

The Wellness Committee will continue to host initiatives that will contribute to the well being and healthy lifestyle of divisional staff and to provide appropriate opportunities for celebration and recognition of key milestones (e.g. service anniversaries).
