Dr. Spiker, Associate Professor of Political Science, earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from West Virginia University, and his undergraduate work was completed at The Pennsylvania State University. At Ohio University Eastern, Dr. Spiker teaches courses on American government and politics, the American presidency, and political parties and elections. He routinely conducts research in the areas of the American presidency, political parties and elections, American political history, and research methodology. His publications have appeared in numerous scholarly journals, including White House Studies.
