Students of Geology Students must have completed courses equivalent to each of the following, or must complete such courses as deficiencies. The courses below do not fulfill the course requirements of the M.S. degree and are considered deficiencies, except the underlined courses in which one may be used to meet graduate course requirements:

Graduate Requirements
Completion of the core course and a minimum of seven additional letter-graded graduate courses chosen to emphasize a particular field of study, and the completion of a thesis related to this field. Courses equivalent to those completed at the undergraduate level may not be selected.
