Purpose
The Master of Financial Economics (MFE) program in Pickerington is designed for working professionals who desire to advance in financial services.
The Department of Economics, in collaboration with the College of Business, Department of Finance and School of Accountancy, offers a Master of Financial Economics degree. The curriculum of the MFE program is built upon the Candidate Body of Knowledge, or CBOK™ of the CFA® Program, which is closely tied to up-to-date professional practices in investment management. The CFA Institute awards the Chartered Financial Analyst®, CFA®, designation to those who pass a series of three written examinations and meet other requirements set by CFA Institute.
This weekend program meets on Saturdays at Ohio University-Pickerington Center. Classes are staffed by faculty members from the Athens campus.
CBOK™, and CFA® are trademarks owned by CFA Institute.
