Graduate Financial Economics - Athens

Purpose

The Master of Financial Economics program in Athens is designed for full-time students who desire to find employment in financial services.

The Department of Economics, in collaboration with the College of Business, Department of Finance and School of Accountancy, offers a Master of Financial Economics (MFE) degree. The curriculum of the MFE program is built upon the Candidate Body of Knowledge, or CBOK of the CFA® Program, which is closely tied to up-to-date professional practices in investment management. The CFA Institute awards the Chartered Financial Analyst®, CFA®, designation to those who pass a series of three written examinations and meet other requirements set by CFA Institute.

The program is structured such that all academic requirements can be completed within 15 months, beginning in the summer quarter and ending in August of the following year.
