Voinovich School students Emily Bacha, an undergraduate studying environmental geography, and Daniel Hoy, a Voinovich Scholar studying physics, provided research and data for the Appalachian Ohio Energy Economic Development Summit. Their work was part of an ongoing effort by the Voinovich School to develop policy solutions that facilitate energy independence, economic growth and environmental sustainability.
