Rio Connection: Jackson Focus on Mathematics and Science Teaching [2013]

Using a mixed-methods approach and quasi-experimental design, Voinovich School professional staff evaluated this three-year Math-Science Partnership project implemented in Jackson City School District (JCSD) in partnership with faculty at the University of Rio Grande and the Gallia-Vinton Educational Service Center. Evaluation findings reveal a successful project across all three years, including teacher and student gains in science content knowledge.
