The Voinovich Academy is hosting the virtual Ohio Public Private Partnership (OP3) Summer Seminar on August 18, 2021.

The OP3 Summer Seminar will include a panel discussion on crisis preparation and recovery. Participants in the seminar will learn about the role of Continuity of Operation Planning. Using a real-world example of a hypothetical crisis, panelists will identify how they would collaboratively impact the crisis using the strengths of other organizations.

Following the panel, the keynote address will be provided by a native Ohioan, retired Vice-Admiral Peter Neffenger. In addition to a distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard, Vice Admiral Neffenger was Director of the Transportation Security Administration in the Obama Administration. The Vice-Admiral will talk about leadership and leveraging crisis having served as the Deputy National Incident Commander for the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

The Ohio Public Private Partnership is an initiative of the Ohio Department of Public Safety. It includes close to 500 partners, including private businesses, associations, public and non-profit agencies, and education institutions.
