A recent OhioToday article highlighted Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs support of the communities and economies in southeastern Ohio as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The article spotlights how the Voinovich School has served as an institutional partner to join in the front lines of critical economic and community recovery for the region. These include providing aid for small businesses, supporting southeastern Ohio mayors and their communities, offering remote crisis leadership training, and helping to strengthen and sustain mental health services across the state.

Voinovich School Founding Dean Mark Weinberg notes that, as a leading public service college in Ohio, the School understands the significance of community-based partnerships to make a difference in the lives of citizens and communities, especially in a time of crisis.

“Our work and partnerships will help lead the economic and community recovery for our region and state,” Weinberg said in the article.
