Project ECHO

Welcome to Project ECHO for the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service!

Our programs focus on addressing critical behavioral health prevention and promotion issues through a collaborative, knowledge-sharing model that embodies Project ECHO motto:  All Teach, All Learn. This model embraces the notion that the wisdom to address community challenges is in the room.  Each session is highly interactive where participants, the subject matter expert, and the community learn from each other.

Helpful Tips

  • Mute your microphone when not speaking
  • If possible, turn on camera
  • Use the chat feature and "raise hand" feature to speak throughout the session

Submit A Situation

Turn Your Real-World Challenge into a Collaborative Success - Submit A Situation Presentation Form.

Sharing real-world situations is a core component of the Project ECHO model and a powerful way to build collective knowledge. Situation presentations help professionals learn from one another by exploring challenges, strategies, and opportunities related to employee wellbeing and organizational culture.

We welcome presentations that reflect the everyday realities of your work—common scenarios, emerging challenges, new initiatives you’re navigating, or complex situations where you would value input from peers and subject matter experts.

Your Role as a Situation Presenter

As a presenter, you will spend about 10 minutes describing your current work situation, the surrounding context, and the specific questions or challenges you would like the group to consider. After your overview, participants may ask brief clarifying questions to better understand the scenario. The heart of the ECHO experience is the shared dialogue that follows—participants and subject matter experts will offer insights, strategies, and perspectives based on their own experience.

Your role is simply to share your situation openly, highlight what you are hoping to learn or explore, and engage in the discussion.

Preparing for Your Presentation

The Situation Presentation Form gives us everything needed to support your participation.
No slides, PowerPoints, or additional materials are expected or required. The presentation and discussion are conversational, designed to be low-prep and grounded in real experience.

Please note:

  • Information from your submitted form will be shared with session participants so they can understand the context ahead of time.
  • Maintain confidentiality. When completing the form, please avoid including names, identifying details, or information that could reveal private or sensitive data about individuals, organizations, or personnel. Focus instead on themes, patterns, and situations.

After you submit the form, our ECHO coordinator will reach out to schedule a brief, friendly meeting to walk through the process, answer questions, and ensure we understand your goals so we can support you effectively.

Workplace Behavioral Wellness Promotion ECHO

  • Organizational leaders, supervisors, and professionals are invited to explore how workplace cultures that promote behavioral wellness support employee retention, well-being, and organizational success. Sessions address challenging stigma, bridging generational communication gaps, supporting employees with caregiving responsibilities, and guiding staff to appropriate behavioral health resources.  Register once and attend as many sessions in the series as your schedule allows.
