Wafa Aziz

My name is Wafa, and I am a math tutor at the Academic Achievement Center. I love travelling, cooking, and reading, but most of all I love math! This is my first semester working at the Math Center, and together with my peers, I look forward to assisting all of you in your college math experience. I know that many students struggle with math sometimes; but, with a determined mindset and an engaging peer tutoring session, I believe we can help turn math from your least favorite into your most favorite subject! Whether it be algebra, trigonometry, or calculus, the peer tutoring services provided by the AAC are great for all students to utilize and receive assistance from dedicated peer tutors who are eager to share their knowledge and help you achieve personal and academic success (plus, it’s free!) 

The AAC’s Peer Tutoring is open online during spring semester. You can schedule an appointment for any course and type of assistance using TutorTrac. Tutors are available for one-hour sessions from Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 4pm-8pm. After you book a session, you will receive an invitation to an MS Teams meeting. All you have to do is join the meeting at the scheduled time. The other tutors and I hope to see you this semester so that we can help you improve your math skills.
