Why do you want to be an OHIO First Scholars Advocate?
I was a first generation college student. While I had supportive parents they never understood the challenges I faced or had the answers to my questions that I was too afraid to ask my college professors. I had a lot of questions and felt dumb for asking them since the other students seemed to just know the information. Now I have a lot of knowledge that I wish I would had as a college student. I would have loved to have a professor that I knew I could ask any question too and not be judged. That's what I am here for now!
