Online Learning Navigator

Hometown: Athens, Ohio

Major: Industrial and Systems Engineering

College: Russ College of Engineering and Technology

Danielle applied for an Online Learning Navigator job with the Academic Achievement Center (AAC) after benefitting from tutoring at the AAC for many of her own classes. Danielle is motivated to help other Bobcats through her work with the AAC and in other roles on campus. She has also served as an orientation leader and learning community leader.

In her time at OHIO, Danielle has traveled to England, Cambodia, and Uganda on academic trips. These experiences have taught Danielle about herself and the world around her. Study and travel abroad has helped her see a big picture of how she would like to contribute on a global scale after graduation. She advocates studying away as a great way to experience other cultures and learn more about your existing interests or something entirely new.

Danielle enjoys hiking with her dogs and woodworking in her free time.

Online Learning Navigators are available to assist Ohio University students in managing the online learning experience. These peers work with you to prioritize assignments, navigate Blackboard, and develop strategies to stay on top of your studies while taking classes remotely.
