Jamie Lambert
Jamie Lambert is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Marketing Department of the Ohio University’s College of Business. She is a two-time alumnus of the university. She currently teaches Principles of Marketing, Nonprofit Marketing, and Principles of Marketing Management. In the past, she has also taught Consumer Behavior, Consumer Marketing, Business-to-Business Marketing, Business Administration, and Freshmen Learning Communities for College of Business students. She has worked as a consultant on numerous projects, ranging from local startups to multi-national corporations.
In addition, Jamie is the Director of the Ohio International Consulting Program, where she also serves as a Team Mentor. She serves as the faculty advisor to the Ohio University chapter of the American Marketing Association. During her tenure at Ohio University, she has received the College of Business Faculty-Staff Contribution Award, the Marketing Department Practice/Applied Engagement Productivity Award (twice), and the College of Business Faculty Instructor Recognition Award. Jamie serves on the executive board of the Athens County Humane Society Board of Directors, as the board Secretary. Her research interests focus on teaching effectiveness, group projects, and mentoring.
Nonprofit Marketing, MKT 3400, is a course that I developed in order to assist Ohio University students and local nonprofit organizations. Through a mutually beneficial relationship, students get real-world experience creating a detailed marketing plan that assists nonprofits in the achievement of their goals.
