Dr. Greg Chidi Obi is a Nigerian-American, an assistant professor, and the coordinator/adviser of the Business Management Technology program ( BMT ) at Ohio University Chillicothe Campus. His Ph.D. is from Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne, Ind., for studies in global leadership with a concentration in organizational management.
Obi has had more than 10 years of experience teaching in higher education at various levels. His primary research interests are in areas of how organizational management practices are affected/impacted by the culture of where the organization is located. Obi also is interested in cross-cultural leadership paradigms, as well as gender and minority issues in today’s organizations.
His published works include book chapters, business case studies, and research articles. He is an avid workshop conference presenter. Obi says he is an early adopter of technology, especially if such technology can impact effective pedagogy.
The proud father of a son (Clive) also serves as the director of the Multimedia and Technology Ministry (MMT) at his church, the First Baptist Church of Chillicothe.
