See pictures below showing three of the four males
On December 10, 2023 at approximately 1:42 a.m., OUPD officers responded to a report of individuals displaying firearms in the area of E. Union Street and University Terrace. A group of three female students, who are Black, reported hearing two groups of males arguing on E. Union Street near Schoonover Center. The victims advised that they overheard the males using the “N” word. One of the victims yelled to the individuals to challenge their use of the word. One of the groups of males left the area while the other group, consisting of three white males and one biracial or Black male (who does not appear in the video from which the pictures were taken at the link above), followed the women to Jeff Hill and yelled racial epithets at them. Two of the males then threatened the victims with what appeared to be firearms with laser sights. The males then fled on foot towards Court Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate them.
OUPD is investigating the incident. Please see the images below showing three of the four males. If you have any information about this incident or can help identify the males involved, please contact OUPD at 740-593-1911 or police@ohio.edu.
