Crime Alert

A female student reported to OUPD that around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014, she was walking on East Green near the Washington arch when she encountered an unknown male, described above, walking toward her from the opposite direction. As they passed, the female reported that the male grabbed her and threatened her with physical harm. The female responded by punching the suspect in the face, causing him to let go of her. She then left the area on foot and returned to her residence hall. She did not see where the suspect went, nor was she able to provide a better description. This case is under investigation by the Ohio University Police Department.
