Crime Alert

On Saturday, February 23, 2013, at approximately 9:20 a.m., the Ohio University Police Department received a report of arson at Tiffin Hall from an Ohio University employee. OUPD initiated an investigation and discovered that an unknown individual(s) set approximately eight fires throughout the building by igniting papers that were hanging on doors and walls. In some cases, the papers then burnt carpet in the building. All of the damage reported in this case was minor. This case is under investigation by the Ohio University Police Department.
