OHIO now accepting nominations for annual Leadership Awards

Ohio University is now accepting nominations and applications for the 44th Annual Leadership Awards.

This event, a long-standing tradition now organized by the Division of Student Life, celebrates the exceptional contributions of students and student organizations. The awards highlight service, outstanding leadership and contributions to the OHIO and local communities.

Nominations can be submitted by anyone, including students, faculty, family and community members, until the deadline of Jan. 14, 2027. Awards are open to all OHIO students regardless of campus. Nominations will be shared with the student or student organization to encourage them to apply. Students do not need to be nominated to apply. 

Awards are open to all OHIO students, but applicants should be sure to review the award criteria specific to any awards they are applying for. Students and student organizations can apply for as many awards as they resonate with through a single application form.

The awards ceremony will take place April 7, 2027, with finalists and winners being honored for their dedication to the OHIO community. All are welcome to attend the celebration, though RSVPs will be required and will open in the spring.
