Margaret Boyd Scholars Program now accepting nominations for board members

The Margaret Boyd Scholars Program is now accepting nominations for Ohio University faculty members to join its board.

The Margaret Boyd Scholars Program is a selective scholarship program focused on women’s leadership. You can learn more about the program at the Margaret Boyd Scholars Program website.

The program is supported by an advisory board with both University-wide faculty and staff membership, and WGSS faculty membership as the program resides in the WGSS program.  The advisory board meets once a month and supports the students by planning and facilitating programming such as the first-year scholar retreat, The board also participates in the interview and selection process for new scholars. Board Members also have opportunities to teach seminars for the scholars, mentor student committees and engage in other ways with our OHIO students.

The program is now seeking University-wide faculty members to join board.

Nominations for the board will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 30. Please email Betsy Kunstel at kunstel@ohio.edu if you are interested in serving on the board or to nominate a colleague. If you are nominating a colleague, please provide the name, department and email address.
