Try WellWorks free, then make it official

Any time between Monday, Aug. 24, and Sunday, Aug. 30, members of the OHIO community are invited to sign up for a free trial membership at WellWorks.

The free trial has no cost, no catch and no commitment, just free access to the Fitness Center and group fitness classes through the end of the trial window.

Who it's for

WellWorks is open to OHIO employees, graduate students and Athens community members, ages 18 and up.

If you decide WellWorks is worth making a habit, you can sign up for an annual membership during that same window, Aug. 24 through 30, and use promo code MAKEITOFFICIAL to save $40. Regular price is $240. During this window, it's $200 for a full year of access.

How it works

Step 1: Sign up for the free trial. No code needed. Any day between Aug. 24 and 30, register at the front desk at Grover Center E124 or online at wellworks-portal.ohio.edu. 

Step 2: If you decide to join, use the discount. Use the promo code MAKEITOFFICIAL at checkout, in person or online, to save $40 on an annual membership.

A few things to know:

• The free trial includes the Fitness Center and Group Fitness Classes. Personal training is not included.
• The $40 discount is valid on annual memberships purchased during that same window.
• WellWorks accepts credit card only: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa.
• Direct debit is not eligible for this promotion.
• Youth Memberships (ages 13-17) are not eligible for this promotion.
