OHIO faculty, staff invited to discussion on creating community in online courses, programs
The next Online @ OHIO Innovators Huddle will be held virtually on Friday, April 17, and will feature the topic Creating Community in Online Courses and Programs.
Held monthly, these 30-minutes discussions feature different topics in a setting designed to allow conversations and ideas to flow. All Ohio University faculty and staff are invited to share ideas and best practices while they learn from one another.
This informal coffee chat discussion will be led by Dr. Amy Taylor-Bianco and Kathy Wilson.
The event will feature a discussion on how Taylor Bianco has created community and belonging in the Online Master of Science in Management program. She will discuss various ideas that she has tried, and will provide encouragement to others in this area.
Also during the event, Wilson will share insights into what OHIO Online is doing to build engagement. All faculty and staff are invited to bring their own ideas and questions.
