OHIO community invited to International Week, International Street Fair

Ohio University’s International Student Union (ISU) will host a wide range of events for students, faculty, staff and community members during International Week.

Held April 6-11, 2026, International Week will include the traditional International Street Fair on Saturday, April 11.

The theme for this year’s International Week is “Culture in Motion; Flavor in Action.”

Monday, April 6 – Flags on the College Green

International Student Union will be placing international flags on the College Green for the University community to enjoy. The flags will be on the green from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Tuesday, April 7 – Global Ice Cream Social

From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Baker University Center Third Floor Atrium, members of the OHIO community will have the opportunity to try unique ice cream flavors inspired by international recipes.

Wednesday, April 8 – Flags on the College Green Again

If you miss taking photos on Monday, don’t worry! Student Senate and ISU are collaborating to bring the international flags back to the College Green for the day. They should be up by 9 a.m. and will remain there until 3 p.m. 

Thursday, April 9 – International Week Sip and Paint

From 4-6 p.m., this fun and relaxing arts event will be held in the Baker University Center Third Floor Atrium.

Friday, April 10 – International Movie Night

From 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Baker University Center Theater, International Student Union will serve popcorn, pizza and drinks while audience members enjoy the Indi Hindu language film with subtitles, “Three Idiots.”

Saturday, April 11 – International Street Fair

The International Street Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Union Street in front of the College Green.

The Flag Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. near the fourth-floor entrance to the Baker University Center and will walk toward Union Street.
