Information session for students interested in summer program at Grand Teton National Park

One of Ohio University’s many summer study away programs has now increased the number of students who can apply and will hold an information session on April 9.

The Summer '26 Tetons - Ecology of Leadership course is now open to first, second and third year students from all majors and is accepting applications.  An information session for the program at will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 4-6 p.m. in Room 106 of the Walter Student Success Center.

Participants in the program at the Grand Teton National Park will explore natural and human ecologies through the lens of systems thinking. What can we learn about disruption, resilience, succession and adaptation as it occurs in nature? How can we translate those concepts to human spaces and leadership development efforts?

Students in the program will be instructed in place-based environmental and conservation studies, social and civic ecology,  and community engagement and leadership development.
