OHIO students, alumni invited to Education Career Fair on March 31
Ohio University will host an Education Career Fair on Tuesday, March 31, in the Baker University Center Ballroom from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Those attending the fair can network and schedule interviews with school districts from 9:30 – 11 a.m. The scheduled interviews will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is not a come and go event. Registration is not required but is encouraged.
Each year, hundreds of students and alumni from Ohio University connect with schools and districts from across the country at the large-scale networking and hiring event featuring a multitude of education employers. The event is free and open to all students and alumni interested in exploring career opportunities. Employers represent a variety of school districts such as Gahanna, Hilliard, Reynoldsburg City Schools, and more.
Each student should have their resume reviewed and printed in multiple copies before the event. Current and previous Bobcats can also schedule mock interviews, which could help students prepare for their interviews and receive immediate feedback on their delivery.
It is recommended that all attendees dress in a business casual outfit as students will be meeting directly with potential employers and representatives. All students are welcome and encouraged to visit the Career Closet in Baker University Center Room 507. The Career Closet provides students with business professional and business casual clothes for interviews, career fairs, formal events or any career-related function, both on and off campus.
