OHIO Chillicothe to host thrift pop-up

Ohio University Chillicothe will partner with Goodwill Industries to host a thrift pop-up this spring. Come refresh your wardrobe with fresh spring pieces or everyday essentials, while shopping sustainably and affordably.

The thrift pop-up will be held in front of Bennett Hall on April 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What you’ll find

Find affordable second-hand spring and summer fashion, including professional and casual wear, jewelry, jackets, shoes and more

Why it matters

Shopping secondhand is one of the easiest ways to do good for the planet and your wallet, and it’s a great way to support local thrift shops. Plus, it’s just fun.

When you shop the pop-up, you’re:

  • Keeping stuff out of the landfill
  • Giving great items a second life
  • Reducing demand for new production
  • Supporting a local organization that cares about sustainability and making thrifting accessible.

This pop-up is made possible by Goodwill of Southeast Ohio, a local partner that works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.

All students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to bring a reusable tote bag (or two), grab your friends, and swing by the event.
