Business Continuity Planning Platform upgrade coming in 2026

Ohio University will upgrade its Kuali Business Continuity Planning (BCP) platform in 2026 to strengthen the University’s ability to prepare for and respond to disruptions affecting operations.

The upgrade will transition the University from the current legacy system to an updated Kuali BCP platform with improved tools for documenting unit continuity plans, maintaining critical operational information, and supporting institutional resilience. The current system will be retired later in 2026.

A cross-functional work group will assist with configuring the new platform and preparing for campus rollout. The updated system is expected to launch on June 1, 2026, with training resources and support available to help planning units update and maintain their continuity plans.

This project is being led by University Compliance in the Office of Audit, Risk and Compliance. Employees with questions may contact Mike Trout, campus compliance and Clery Act coordinator at trout@ohio.edu.

Additional information will be shared with the OHIO community as the project progresses.
