Missing valuable research materials?
Ohio University Libraries is now accepting applications for its 1804 Special Library Endowment Fund and the Arts and Humanities Junior Faculty Endowment Fund through March 17, 2026.
The 1804 Special Library Endowment Fund enables Ohio University Libraries to develop distinctive collections by providing a means to purchase materials outside the scope and limits of regular acquisitions funds. The 1804 Endowment monies are applied toward the purchase of specialized collections and individual items of rare or otherwise extraordinary value that support faculty and student research and learning.
1804 Special Library Endowment Fund
Proposals for the 1804 Special Library Endowment Fund are open to all students, faculty and staff.
Established with substantial funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Arts and Humanities Junior Faculty Endowment Fund supports the purchase of critical, highly specialized, and/or expensive library resources needed for the research of tenure-track faculty during their early years of employment. All resources purchased with endowment income become property of the Libraries and are added to the collection and made available to the Ohio University community.
Arts and Humanities Junior Faculty Endowment Fund
Proposals for the Arts and Humanities Junior Faculty Endowment Fund may be submitted by any tenure track faculty member within the first few years of their hire.
The deadline for proposals for both funds is March 17, 2026, with awards announced July 1, 2026.
