OUPD to offer active aggressor training sessions during spring semester

As part of the Ohio University Police Department’s commitment to public safety education, the department will be hosting active aggressor training sessions during the spring semester.

Free to the public, the training sessions are provided each semester to encourage and promote discussion about active aggressor situations. The training sessions also help participants learn how to be more prepared should an incident occur.

The Spring 2026 training will be presented by the Ohio University Police Department (OUPD) in Baker University Center Room 230 from noon until 1 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 20
  • Thursday, Feb. 5
  • Monday, Feb. 16
  • Thursday, March 19

Participants need to only attend one session. No registration is necessary. For more information, contact OUPD Community Relations Officer Evan Wilkof at wilkof@ohio.edu.
