OHIO employees required to complete fraud reporting training by Oct. 29
All Ohio University employees, including faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and program employees, who receive a paycheck from Ohio University must complete a fraud reporting training program during the fall semester.
The training is required by the state of Ohio, and all OHIO units are already seeing very positive progress. The video for the state mandated training program takes less than 8 minutes to complete, and the training program as whole will take less than 11 minutes to complete.

The training is focused on the state of Ohio’s fraud reporting system and provides information on the means of reporting fraud, waste and abuse. All state employees and elected officials in the state of Ohio are required to complete the training by Oct. 29, 2024.
Any employees, including student employees, who have questions about the training program are encouraged to talk with their supervisors or contact their Human Resources representatives.
OHIO units making positive progress
As of Aug. 30, 2024, several OHIO units are nearing 100% completion rates, and many of our units are doing very well.
The Top 5 units and their compliance rates are as follows:
- Office of Information and Technology (OIT) – 99%
- Office of the President – 94%
- Vice President for Enrollment Management – 92%
- University Communications and Marketing – 88%
- Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion – 82%
Ohio University will update this information throughout the fall semester and highlight the progress of different units as we move toward full compliance.
In addition, employees who have not yet completed the training will receive weekly email reminders from Ohio University Compliance Training by Vector Solutions. The emails will include links to the training program for faculty, staff and program employees and the training program for student employees.
