Search committee announced for next vice president for finance and administration, CFO

Ohio University President Lori Stewart Gonzalez has announced the search committee for the University’s next vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer (CFO).

The search committee will include representatives from across the University and will be co-chaired by:

  • Candice Casto, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for The Ohio University Foundation
  • Doug Clowe, Professor and Director of the Astrophysics Institute in the College of Arts and Sciences and Professional Relations Committee Chair for Faculty Senate

The additional members of the committee will include:

  • Julie Allison, Associate Vice President for Finance
  • Chris Ament, Chief Information Officer
  • Jon Cozad, Associate Vice President of Design and Construction
  • John Day, interim Vice President for Finance and Administration and CFO
  • Michael Gray, Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Administrative Senate Representative
  • Kari Lehman, Vice Provost for OHIO Online
  • Ken Johnson, Executive Dean and Chief Medical Affairs Officer for the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Andrew Powers, Chief of Police
  • Lyn Redington, Vice President Student Affairs
  • Nisha Singh, Treasurer for Graduate Student Senate
  • Aaron Wilson, Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy, Director of the Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program in the College of Business, and Finance and Facilities Committee Chair for Faculty Senate

President Gonzalez named Day as the interim vice president for finance and administration and CFO in November after former vice president for finance and administration and CFO Mark Heil resigned from the position.

The national search for the next vice president for finance and administration and CFO is expected to be concluded by the end of spring semester. Dates for community engagement opportunities will be announced in the spring semester.
