Christianne Medrano Graham named director of sorority and fraternity life at Ohio University

Ohio University has named Christianne (Chris) Medrano Graham as its new director of sorority and fraternity life. She will begin the position on May 16, 2022.

“Chris brings experience, excitement and enthusiasm to the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life,” Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Imants Jaunarajs said. “Her passion and professional leadership experience closely align with our efforts to advance the Sorority and Fraternity culture at OHIO.” 

Medrano Graham comes to OHIO from the University of West Georgia where she served as associate director, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Leadership and Volunteerism. She previously served as associate director of sorority and fraternity life at Florida International University and as assistant director for Multicultural Center programming at Indiana University Purdue University. 

“I am excited to join the Bobcat family and learn more about this vibrant community,” Medrano Graham said. “I look forward to the opportunity to partner in Ohio University’s efforts to build a more inclusive sorority and fraternity experience for all students.”

Medrano Graham is a doctoral candidate for higher education and student affairs at Indiana University. She earned a Master of Education in Student Personnel in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in cultural studies at the University of Florida, and an Associate in Arts in English at Miami-Dade Community College.
