Faculty invited to provide feedback on Turnitin and SafeAssign

As previously reported, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) has partnered with the Center of Consumer Research and Analytics (CRA) to launch an evaluation of plagiarism detection tools, more specifically to understand the uses and opportunities of Turnitin and SafeAssign. Faculty are invited to provide feedback on Turnitin and SafeAssign by Dec. 6, 2021.

The evaluation project launched in September 2021, with the CRA student analysts learning about OHIO’s plagiarism detection and originality checking tools, Turnitin and SafeAssign. CRA student analysts will use the faculty feedback to inform the larger evaluation project. The CRA’s study results, as well as OIT's future steps regarding the evaluation project, will be announced during the first months of Spring 2022.
