COVID-19 Testing Center moving to Shively Hall on Monday, July 19

The University's Vault Health asymptomatic COVID-19 testing center is moving to Shively Hall on the University’s East Green. The first day for testing at Shively Hall will be Monday, July 19. Testing will continue to take place at the Tennis Center through this Friday, July 16.

Summer testing center hours will remain the same: 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; and 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

“We are glad to be able to return the tennis courts to their intended use,” Maria Modayil, COVID-19 epidemiologist for OHIO COVID Operations said. “Additionally, the Tennis Center is not temperature controlled. Shively Hall is located in the heart of campus and will be more comfortable for testing as well as vaccine clinics this fall.”

The Tennis Center will be available for tennis beginning Monday, July 26.

“We are grateful to our many partners across the University who collaborated and worked quickly to make this move possible,” said Gillian Ice, special assistant to the president for public heatlh operations.

Limited free parking is designated for Shively Hall testing center visitors in the Morton Hall parking lot (lot number 90).
