National Civil Rights Conference accepting submissions for 2020 meeting at Miami University

The National Civil Rights Conference is calling for papers, panel sessions, workshops and artistic productions for this year’s session June 22-23 at Miami University. This is the first time the conference will be held outside of a southern state.

Any aspects of human and civil rights in materials are welcome, but priority will be given to submissions that directly relate to this year’s theme: “Rise, Advocate, Educate and Cooperate: The Challenge of Change.”

Proposals are to be submitted electronically, and must include: the title of the material, author name(s) and affiliation(s), a 200-250 word abstract and contact information for the submitter. All proposals can be emailed to Keith Parker at kdparker@civilrightsconference.com

The deadline for submissions is April 1.

More information about the conference can be found on its website
