OHIO’s National Capital Internship program accepting applications for Spring 2020 until Oct. 14

The National Capital Internship program, a program that provides Ohio University students with the opportunity to work full time in Washington, D.C. as interns, is open for applications for the Spring 2020 cohort. The application will close Monday, Oct. 14 at 11:59pm.

Previous students in this program have worked on Capitol Hill, in the office of a Member of Congress or with a Congressional Committee and may take on a range of roles depending on the needs of the placement host. Capital Interns live in a common location, facilitating peer-to-peer learning and co-curricular opportunities.

Students interested in politics, policy or government are encouraged to apply.

An upcoming information session about the internship program will take place on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Baker 235. The session will allow prospective applicants to meet with faculty directors, speak with previous program participants, learn more about the program details and ask any questions about the experience or application process.

For more information about the program, visit: https://www.ohio.edu/global/goglobal/programs/capital-internship.cfm.

Students unable to attend the info session, may attend walk in advising hours in the Global Opportunities Office (Walter International Education Center next to Baker) Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
