iCUE Spotlight: June 28 – July 4, 2019
Take a look at the upcoming events on the official OHIO Calendar of University Events. Anyone with an active OHIO ID can log in and complete the form to add events that are sponsored by any OHIO planning unit or registered student organization.
So be sure to add your OHIO events, programs and deadlines to the CUE to help keep all members of our University community in the loop! Here’s a look at a few upcoming events:
Saturday, June 29, 3-5 p.m. Athena Cinema, 20 S. Court St., Athens, OH 45701
A fundraiser for Southeast Ohio Youth Mentoring (formerly Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Athens), the price of admission to these screenings is a suggested minimum donation of $2 per ticket. For no additional charge, all ticket holders will be entered into a raffle with a featured prize being handed out at each event, including Splash Passes which offer 10 admissions to the Athens City Pool donated by Athens Community Arts, Parks & Recreation, and a pair of admission passes to COSI in Columbus! Plus, Athens Public Libraries will be handing out free books at the screenings.

Wednesday, July 3, 7 p.m. College Green, 1 Ohio University, Athens, OH 45701
Under the Elms Concert Series features free concerts, and this will be the last concert of the summer. Its theme is Celebrate America, in recognition of Independence Day, and the concert will highlight patriotic favorites.
