National International Education Week

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

International Education Week at OHIO

Ohio University celebrated International Education Week each year in November as a way to celebrate our university’s international culture and heritage and to recognize the importance of a global education. Ohio University offers a wide range of international education opportunities on campus and around the world throughout the year, and these programs, activities and courses are key to helping the university achieve its mission helping alumni become global leaders. Ohio University also celebrates International Week in the spring of each year to recognize the cultures and countries represented on campus. International Week features great speakers, wonderful events filled with international foods, the always popular International Street Fair and a wide range of activities. Please click here for more information on International Week.
