As an interdisciplinary research center, we draw on the expertise of engineering faculty from three disciplines: electrical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, and mechanical Engineering. Our collaborative approach allows us to identify and work in overlapping areas and develop team-building qualities in our graduate students that are rarely found in individual specialties. This interaction strengthens our understanding of the complex systems we study and the breadth of applications we can affect with our work.
Ongoing research at the Center for Advanced Systems and Transportation Logistics includes projects in a range of industries, from aircraft design to food manufacturing. For more info. on a specific project, contact the center at 740.593.1539.
Researchers at the Center for Advanced Systems and Transportation Logistics regularly publish their findings. We maintain a list of journal publications, conference publications, and book chapters published.
